Finally, another part. I swear this story just keeps kicking my butt. However, it feels like it has finally come together in my brain, so I'm hoping to keep the momentum going now. Fingers crossed! Thanks for your patience.

Love that Methos calls Ezra boy and treats him like he's ten. Also so impressed that Charlotte conned Methos. :D

And you know Ezra just hates it. At least present day, he's moved on to 'Standish' LOL

One of the things I'm not fond of is the idea in the fandom that often appears that Methos is some omniscient superbeing. He's not. He's 'just a guy', a guy who had his own blind spots. Charlotte knew Methos for a very long time, and I think she stood a good chance of pulling a fast one - at least once [g]

I enjoyed this, and that's saying something since the only knowledge I have of the Highlander and Magnificent 7 fandoms is from your fics! Clever Charlotte! (And cleverer Methos, if he did actually realize what she was doing!)

I honestly think Charlotte pulled a fast one. Methos has a certain mental image of Charlotte and he underestimated her. She's 'grown up', a lot. I do think he'll know he was had pretty much the first lesson he has with Ezra.
