Nin barely made it to midnight, so I have been deserted. I feel like partying, but only have kittens. Waiting fro stock I'm cooking down to be ready - and it froze the window! Ah yes, hair dryers and windows ... memories of my first apartment.

Happy New Year to you and yours. Not much for us this year ... did most of our cooking and eating earlier in the week.

A second viewing of "The Kings Speech" is due for tomorrow.

??? Did any one else catch Colin on Letterman earlier this week ???
Interesting to learn that he went to school in St Louis MO in 1972-1973 when his parents taught at college there. Also interesting is that his mother has background in Iowa and India. I double checked his IMDb entry and he is NOT the son of the Firth I worked with in the 1970s. Wow, that was a close one.
