So our low last night was -19. We've burned close to two cords of wood in the past week trying to keep the house warm enough for the munchkin which isn't easy when wind chill and snow and ice and all that lovely cold shtuff keep fighting your best efforts. I needed a distraction from the lovely thoughts that are 'Oh gods I don't wanna go outside for more wood. I'm gonna get frostbite!'... It's 11 now and its quite honestly warm compared to the past couple of nights. Either ways, I found these prompts that I've had for ever and ever but never done anything with and decided that it was the perfect time to use them. Don't know how much sense they make but as usual lack that waff-y thing that is the exact opposite of angst.
Bonecrusher/Sam Witwicky/Irresponsible
They were so irresponsible. They held a treasure but allowed it to run free without guard as though it could be replaced at any moment of their choosing should something happen to the original. Glaring in the general direction of the fight still going on around he bent down and gently scooped the unconscious human into his hand. Closing his hand around the fragile human, he stood and made his way to the outskirts of the battle where his gestalt brother Hook was already beginning the long and tedious process of triage for the injured. He knew that while they never could return to what they had once been before the war for their independence had begun he hoped that by caring for the organic in his hand that they could recover at least a small amount of what they had lost.
Blackout/Barricade/Morals
“Those fraggin’ morals of yours are gonna get you deactivated one of these orns.”
“Be quiet and don’t speak of things you know nothing about.” Blackout made a small noise of disagreement that caused the smaller black and white mech to whirl around to face him. “You have something else to say? I have no morals left that could be considered a liability to my job. I do as our Lord commands without protest which is more than I can say for some.”
“If Lord Megatron ordered you to tear out your brother’s spark you would hesitate.” Blackout commented lowly his red optics fixed on the symbiote chirring peacefully as he ran gentle clawed digits along the armor searching for imperfections or weak spots. “You would hesitate because you remember that he’s your brother and that you knew his spark before you ever knew another. Those are the morals that I’m talkin’ about and those are the morals that are gonna get you deactivated one of these orns.”
Mikaela Banes/Ratchet/Trapped
They were trapped in this farce of a relationship together. It had been a while since they’d stopped loving each other in the way that lovers are supposed to. She couldn’t remember when the love had changed the way it had but she knew that the man she was supposed to marry was more like a brother to her. They knew that everyone expected them to take this step and they comforted each other as they struggled to find a way out of it. However, expectations can be a heavy thing and knowing the disappointment that would follow if they didn’t meet those expectations was a burden they weren’t sure they could bear. Listening as Ratchet counseled her on the level of care she would now need as an expectant mother Mikaela could only bite her lip as she fought back hot tears of disappointment in the knowledge that both her and Sam were trapped with no way of escape.
Bonecrusher/Ironhide/Morals
“You want to speak of morals?” Bonecrusher roared as he hefted a large stone and threw it in the general direction of the Autobot currently dodging his throws until cover could be found. “You abandoned us! Don’t you start talkin’ about morals like choosin’ to be an Autobot made you so much better than the rest of us.”
“The mech you’re calling leader has got more glitches than he does processors!” Ironhide called out as he slid to a halt behind a pile of rubble large enough to conceal his frame. “He’s a slaggin’ murderer that turned to killin’ his own when protectin’ them wasn’t good enough.”
Bonecrusher sneered as the comm.’s came back into life with shouted orders and he took one last look at the pile of rubble hiding the weapons specialist before turning away. “He’s a murderer but he ain’t ever denied what he is. That's more’n we can say for you Ironhide.”
