Huxley's Ape and Essence was pretty good. And i'm reading The Prince right now. But Vonnegut? He's awesome. i read Breakfast of Champions last month. Are there any good bands over in japan that we sheltered bostonians should know about? Oh, and why can't you just get your bass here shipped to japan?

a couple i guess. i want to get a cd by this band gorillan pet bottle, but i've never heard their music before. but the cover's of a gorilla in a kilt or something like that, so it must be good.

i have ape and essence. actually, i lent it to someone and they didn't like it because it was the year 2000 something and ghandi had just been killed

I've been reading Don Juan lately, and it's good. Byron makes alot of references to politcal shit that's going on at the time in England so a lot of it is tough to follow, but when the writing gets flowing it's damned good.

One of my philosophy teachers started reading a book called When Nietzsche Wept last night and likes it so much that he's making our class read it by next week, so I suppose that might be good.
