Pops Performing Arts Academy dominatedddd!!!!!:)
So my first dance competition was this Sunday..
We had extra rehersal on Saturday at the dance studio because we really didn't think we were ready. That didn't go to well..
But wow..obviously we were ready.. Here's how the Sunday comp. went.. And I don't know if anyone that reads this cares how well we did , but I'm justwicked pumped about the whole competition so i hvae to write it down some where.
These are how the group numbers did
Tap(Forget About the Boy)-1st over all for Senior Large Groups. Won $150
Lyrical( Ain't No Sunshine)-3rd over all for Senior Large Groups
Jazz(Be My Girl)- Most entertaining (out of the 111 dances at the comp.)
Lyrical Small group (Hanging by A Thread)- got the only Platinum award givin the whole day and first overall for small groups! WHAT AN ACOMPLISHMENT LADIES!! Won $150
This is how me and Freels Duet did :)
Musical Theater (Nowadays)-FIRST OVERALL FOR DUETS/TRIOS IN THE 16-19 YEAR OLD AGE CATEGORY!!!!!! THIS IS THE FIRST DUET I HAVE EVER DONE AND ITWAS AT THE FIRST COMPETITION AND WE GOT FIRST! I LOVE YOU BRITTANY FREEL WE DID AWESOME. Won $50:)
all my sisters dances did aweomse aswell.Actually they did better then my group numbers probably.. And my sister got second overall for her first solo ever!! I'm proud of her.. She makes me cry when she dances :)
well I guess thatall the dancing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Firdays, Saturdays, and Sundays has really paid off.. LEts just hope we keep up the good work on all the competitionsn to come.
