Well, it's tied back into a ponytail, okay. And she's wearing (women's) slacks and a blouse instead of her usual dress. And she's found some boots somewhere, okay; instead of flats.
It is all women's clothing, but very boyish, almost tomboyish, and she seems to be enjoying the drones who tsk at the lack of femininity. Not that she's petty at all, of course; or taking pleasure in passively annoying them. That would be immature and hardly befitting the (ex) wife of an aristocrat.
