As the sun slowly sets in the west...
Wizkids finally announced the end of the BSG game last week.
So, tonight I went through my binder and pulled out a collector's set (1 of each, plus 1 of each foil) and boxed it up with a collector's tin and put it away. Then I pulled all of my decks apart and filed the cards. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with what I've got left, but I don't think keeping them is terribly likely.
It was kind of a bittersweet moment, to file them for what is effectively the last time. I've spent better than a year intimately involved in this game, and even though I knew it needed to be ended, it's still kind of sad to see a project that I've put so much into end on such a down note.
Ah well. One step closer to the end. I saw it coming when Kevin sold out of realms. My time with games has peaked, and my involvement will never be as deep as it was then. I've pulled back from realms, almost to the point of quitting. I got pulled into horrorclix because it's fun, but I still maintain that Mechwarrior is the last game that I'll quit.
