Watched the most inspiring movie of all time, Into the Wild, which has no doubt motivated me even more to go on such an adventure at least once in my life (:
Hats off with a bow to Christopher Johnson Mccandless_Alexander supertramp for his courage and insightful experience! (:
He was one of the greatest hitchhiker in the 1990s who spent 2 years of his life straying on the streets, living off the land and travelling towards Alaska, almost completely by foot :D His belief in going all out to see the world and total freedom has earned my admiration for him. R.E.S.P.E.C.T! hehee.
The total freedom and his endless encounters with nature was astonishing! Can't wait for the day I pack up and leave this town for an adventure that's gonna change my life completely.
I swear I'll do it some day, even if it means death (in the wild) at the end...
I pray that I get the courage to do it soon.
Just for a while, let me disappear from the human radar and the map (:
Two years he walks the earth.
No phone, no pool, no pets, no cigarettes. Ultimate freedom. An extremist. An aesthetic voyager whose home is the road. Escaped from Atlanta. Thou shalt not return, 'cause "the West is the best." And now after two rambling years comes the final and greatest adventure. The climactic battle to kill the false being within and victoriously conclude the spiritual pilgrimage. Ten days and nights of freight trains and hitchhiking bring him to the Great White North. No longer to be poisoned by civilization he flees, and walks alone upon the land to become lost in the wild.

Some of his powerful quotes;
"I read somewhere... how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong... but to feel strong."
"The freedom and simple beauty is too good to pass up..."
"The core of mans' spirit comes from new experiences."
"If we admit that human life can be ruled by reason, then all possibility of life is destroyed."
"...henceforth will learn to accept my errors, however great they be..."
"Happiness is only real when shared."
