So I have desided what Pokemon I want to collect, and got my collection officially started. I just moved and set up my collections, so I can start!
Main Collections:
Eevee, Espeon, Umbreon, Sylveon, Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Glaceon and Leafeon
Oshawott, Dewott and Samurott
Just may be my favorite starter. Ever. I collect my baby otter whenever I can and hope to build this collection before BW items become elusive and fall into the dust. Keeping Eeveelus, XY and Osha my primary focus.
Fennekin - has no merch yet!
Custom Fennekin is all for now! I will enjoy this while I can XD
Squrtile, Wartortle, Blastoise
I've always enjoyed all the Kanto starters, but Squirtle has always been my favorite, even today, being my Firered starter I picked a year ago. There of course is a lot of merchandise for him (starter, 1st gen AND Ash's Pokemon), but I will be selective with this collection. If I want, it can always grow more.
Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert
My Emerald Starter. Mudkip and Torchic have always been neck-and-neck for title of my prefered Hoenn starter, but Mudkip wins it. Most my collections currently consist of Hoenn Pokemon! :)
Pachirisu
Albino electric squirrel, a bundle of cuteness. Pachirisu is one of the things that got me into collecting, seeing some old Pachirisu collections inspired me to collect. Now, I'd like to get more of Pachi. :)
There are other's I would be happy to have as main collections, but for now I'm focusing on these collections. :)
Side collections:
Nidoran, Nidorino, Nidoking, Nidoran, Nidorina, Nidoqueen
Scince Firered the Nidos have become a special group for me. My collection started because of this, and my BK Nidoking key chain. I got it in a lot, never thought much of it. Then started wearing him with my keys after Firered, after becoming attached to it, it dissapered. I thought it had fallen off when a large friendly dog came to me, not noticing it until a few days later. I missed it like it was my prize item, I searched frantically for it. Realizing it was somewhere far away and I had to stop looking for it, I picked up a new one for a few cents. It replaced it in my collection, but nothing could replace my old Nido. Some time after that, I searched the couch again I had thoroughly surveyed before many times looking for it. Randomly, for no reason at all, I looked (probably wondering where the TV remote was again with hopes of Nido being there in the back of my mind) and out I pulled Nido, key ring, keys and all. I was so happy, yet somehow knew I'd find him after all. Now Nido sits in my collection with Neo Nido, never venturing out into the dangerous world on my key ring again. He is, my favorite piece in this collection. :) (now I won't use key chains even if it's of something I barely like) :P
Sandshrew, Sandslash
Sandshrew started being a favorite for me when I had first seen it in The Path to the
Pokemon Leauge. Hoping it would be a "main character" in merch, and anime, along with AJ (instead of like Poliwhirl eeeeeeeverywhere who was hardly featured in the anime), who, at the time I did not know about the -character-of-the-day clice' in anime and actually thought he would return again. LOLNOPE But Sandshrew has contunued to be a favorite, and will be on my Leafgreen team when I get it. :) Sandshrew is adoreable and needs to have more merchandise. :)
Spinarak, Ariados
I never paid too much attencion to 2nt gen, but while playign Heartgold this adoreable spider got me. It became a awesome member of my team, and my Ariados in Collosseum fuled this even more. I like more Bug types then I thought, they sure are a lot easier to like then real bugs! I want a Spinarak plushie. Bad. But I'm holding off on the bootleg. If I do get it, I'll cuddle it and it won't really be a collection item. (bootlegs are for kids to play with and cuddleing :P )
Ceterpie, Medapod, Butterfree
Anime again. Caterpie has always, deep down, been the second thing I think of when I think of old-school Pokemon. Pikachu, and Caterpie.
