Yes, that's it! No more work for me. In less than a month now I'll be boarding a plane and return to camp. Yesterday was my last day at work (which unfortunately involved talking on the phone. A lot).
[Edited to add: Reading earlier posts, I realized that this may sound unclear -- My job as a tech support representative was over in April. After that I had a free week, and then I went for a short project that lasted four days. Now I've decided that I'm not going to look for a temporary job but to stay home and relax]
Anyhoo, now I have about a month to relax and to prepare for my trip to the US. I'm very glad that I don't have to work again till October, because quite frankly, I've had it with the job.
True, my only two lasting jobs were talking on the phone or taking incoming calls, but I hate it. I hate phones.I'm a freak like that. I hereby promise myself that I will find a job that does not entail talking on the phone with customers [bonus point if I find a job that doesn't require me to interact with a lot of people. I have had enough of that for a while].
On other "news", I got accepted to Tel Aviv University. After a long internal debate as to where to go to school next year, I've decided that Tel Aviv is the right place for me right now. So come October I'll start my studies for a degree half in computer science and half in free studies [I hope to take some history classes].
[[ Now that I'm going to have a lot of free time, I'm going to finally READ all the stuff I''ve been putting aside for months... ]]
