After the long day we had yesterday, today we started late: We only got out of bed around 9:30. We left the house only around 11. All in all, the day involved quite a lot of walking, but for the first time, the sky was somewhat clear and it wasn't as cold as it was before.
We started the day with a late breakfast at a noodle restaurant. I quite liked it and it is something considering how hard it is for me to find food here for some reason. In the restaurant they had a sort of vending machine where you paid for the food you want through the machine, it gave you voucher and then you gave it to the restaurant personnel. (There are quite a lot of vending machines around here. Some for cigarettes but most of them for drinks. Those machines can serve you both hot and cold drinks, and they are literally 10 meters or so apart).
Today we continued our tour of Kyoto's Shrines and Temples. There are a lot of them around of all different sizes apparently. Today we stopped at the bigger ones. They were quite impressive in size and I quite liked their architecture. Not my religion so I have nothing much to say about it. The buildings looked very Japanese to me, so I guess the trip was worth it.
On the way back home (at around 5-6) we stopped to buy me a new suitcase instead of the one whose wheels broke when we got here. We are resting for a while and while leave again soon and explore some more.
After getting home we didn't do anything significant besides going out a few hours later to grab dinner at my favorite joint in Singapore and now here in its native Japan - Mos Burger (I just love their veggie burger).
