Day 116: Great Comic, Horribly Awful Movie

Jun 02, 2008 20:58

Mad Scientist Monday, this time you must choose between the elemental powers of the Fantastic Four.

a.)    Mr. Fantastic.  You are stretchy, super stretchy in fact.  Your upper limit for stretching is 160 feet, but you are incredibly thin at that point.  Bullets hurt you, but they don’t tear into you, rather they go in and bounce back out.  You can stretch wide or for length.  Unlike DC’s Plastic Man, you can’t change shape to look like something else.  For example, you can’t turn into a vase, or look like a different person, but you can inflate yourself into a ball, turn your hands into shields by making them bigger, etc.  You also have limited control of specific body parts for all you deviants, so your wang can get bigger (but thinner if it gets longer) or for example, you can adjust your eyes for short periods of time so if you wear glasses you can go without for a while.

b.)    The Thing.  You’re a giant rock man.  Super strong, indestructible, and bright orange.  In the interests of fairness, unlike the actual Thing, you can change back into a normal person.  When all ‘rocked’ up you can survive in the deepest part of the ocean, though air is a concern, much like it will be when you are in a non-pressurized suit in space.

c.)    The Human Torch.  You can turn on fire, be invulnerable to fire, and fly.  You can shoot fire, but not control it, so no fire dragons, making the fire follow people, etc.  Your metabolism will take a hit to be the fuel for the fire, so if you skip a meal, you might pass out after ‘flaming on.’  Also, there’s no Mr. Fantastic, so no unstable molecules.  Thus every time you catch on fire, your clothes are gone.

d.)    Invisible Woman.  Arguably the most powerful member of the team, you can, of course turn invisible, make other objects invisible, create force fields around yourself and others, create force fields inside of people and expand them, etc.  You can create a platform and make it go up, but it can’t fly.  The other end of your invisible dealy must be in contact with a solid surface.

So, what’s it going to be?
