Day 95: Mad Scientist Invincibility

May 12, 2008 20:12

Mad Scientist time, and this go ‘round, he’s giving you the option for invincibility, albeit in two vastly different ways.

A.)    Man of Steel invincibility.  You’re super dense, and thus your strength is amped up due to reinforced bones, organs, and muscles.  Bullets bounce off of you; grenades can blow up around you; you can free fall from space, and you might have to be dug out, but you’ll live.  Being super dense, you will be slower than you’re used to; however, let’s get this out of the way: you can still feel.  You can be tickled, feel a kiss, etc, etc, etc.

B.)    Hydro-man invincibility.  You can turn into a liquid, reforming back into your default shape by thought.  While there’s a limit measured in miles, if the puddle of you is separated even down to the molecular level, the pieces of you can pull together and re-form.  You can also shoot ‘pieces’ of you at people, but your mass will not increase.  Therefore, unlike other water-projection-based characters, you can’t shoot water at an incredible rate and pressure, because what you are is all the mass you have access to when using your powers.  Also, bullets will pass through you, and explosions will separate you, but if you can recall yourself quickly enough, you can get back what you lost due to evaporation.  Also, you can turn into water or whatever to slip through cracks, travel around, etc.

So, what’s it going to be?
