Day 85: Random Notes Going into the Weekend
A few quick things before I start cooking for the next four hours.
- Meatballs. Stop using dried bread crumbs in a can or throwing in bread crumbs and milk separately. Get white bread, cut off the crusts, dice up the bread and let it sit in milk for a little while. Squeeze the extra milk out before adding to the meat. I just tried this and fried one up, oh my God; it’s like I’m tasting meatballs for the first time.
- I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong, and I just wanted to say that Rockstar totally fixed the shooting in Grand Theft Auto IV.
- Iron Man this weekend and Indiana Jones comes back in 14 days. Please, please, please don’t let Indiana Jones suck.
- How hard is to be a decent person? I’m not asking for everyone to turn into Mother Teresa, but it seems like everyone is going out of their way to screw everyone else over. It’s gotten to the point where everyone just wants to screw over everyone else before everyone else can screw them. You don’t even have to be nice, just don’t be an ass. Be neutral. Be water.
- God, it is funny to watch sports writers and ESPN personalities melt down over bloggers. Guys, these opinions and jokes would all exist regardless of the internet. Now everyone has a voice. Welcome to a meritocracy.
