I’ve mentioned on this here humble LiveJournal my powerful enjoyment of the stellar comics book, DMZ, on any number of occasions. Brian Wood’s portrayal of a desolate NYC caught in the middle of America’s second Civil War is down right riveting, despite the glaring omission of proud Dixie as a major catalyst in this, the most recent War Between the States.
Anyhoo, Buz, a frequent commenter on my lil’ ol’ piece of the internet, actually lives in New York, and while he kins to this here tale of misery, woe, and the indomitable human spirit, he reckons he’d do the layout of war torn New York and its inhabitants a mite different. So, if you’re a fan of comics, literature (they count, don’t you be that guy/gal), bright lights, big cities, allegories, or post-apocalyptic fiction why don’t y’all mosey yourselves on down to Buz’s ‘stead and read his thoughts on DMZ’s architectural narrative.
