2 ~ Tokes over the line
Looks like I can finally tell my nice couch goodbye and get settled into a room. Been awhile since I've bunked with anyone. Here's to getting along.
Soon as I walked in I could tell the school replaced one of the beds with a new one. I grabbed it right away. If my new roomie wants this side of the room, we'll have to rearrange furniture. I was pretty worried I'd be sleeping on top of years' worth of emotions. Strike that. Make that not sleeping.
I think the power classes will help. I'm lucky that there are several experienced students with similar powers. I'm hoping they can help me master mine.
And I ask you, do I have a sign saying "Damsel in Distress" hanging around my neck? No? Didn't think so.
