All these attacks on muggles's enough to make me wanna cancel my subscription to the daily prophet. What's scary is how close together they are now.

Before you know it, attacks on muggles'll be a daily thing.

I can't believe I just wrote that.

[[ In other news... ]]My hat's barely keeping it together now. This is depressing ( Read more... )

I don't know about that.

It catches them off guard when you know how to fight like a Muggle.

That's pretty good advice, actually. There really oughta be a Muggle sparring club at school.

[[ Now you've got Firo thinking ]]

...mixing dueling with sparring. How ducky would that be.

You've just got to be very careful. Very careful.

I never cared much for dueling, really.

That goes without saying. I'm stupid, but I'm not reckless. [[ Believe it or not. ]]

Really? I've always liked dueling. Not as much as sparring but it's useful.

You're very lucky, then.

Dueling isn't as intimate. If you're going to bother fighting someone, you should have the decency to do it up close, I think.

That's not going to help either way though. You might knock em off guard but I'm sure they'd have some other people round for back up...

No, not if you're careful. You'll have to plan, it's a much longer process than it would seem.

You're right. People should start taking preventative measures...

Probably. We can't rely on the aurors to be anything but useless.

ohfedoras July 16 2011, 23:13:58 UTC
Well, aurors can't be everywhere at the same time...but their response times are really shitty. The ministry oughta step up its game.

They won't. They've known about this for ages. No progress, none.

...that's really, really fuckin disheartening. I wonder how much more different they'd react if it was a Pureblood...
