"Press de Meet!!"
well!! it is high time i update here pilgrims! lets get right into it.
i recently went to my first real concert, Guster at RPI with morgan. it was oh-so-much fun!! we met up with drew there, sang for a while, some dude leaned on me, people behind us had lighters - it was nuts! i loved it, especially when the drummer came out and sang total eclipse of the heart. something i’ll always remember.
then came the play in full force. we did Fiorello! which is about the career of Fiorello LaGuardia. its a really good play with alot of great numbers, and the kids who i worked with were so much fun. lol, so i was Floyd MacDuff, a corrupt Tammany cop who didn't know any better - BUT! - my sister was casted (without our knowledge) opposite me...so we had to fall in love. it was pretty fun and we worked well together but we went ahead and skipped the kissing scene lol. other than that it was just super-sized fun be it at the place where we actually did the play or practicing at school. i am so doing the play next year. oh, and i loved getting a little gift afterwards...
the week after the play was alright but it felt weird not having practice every night for hours. i was whooped and took it easy which was cool. i also ate ALOT of Triscuts. those things are addictive.
so this weekend! friday morgan and i went to the el mall and chilled and saw scooby doo 2. i thought it was going to be not so good but one computer generated dog and a few life-lessons later i sat corrected! we had some excellent dinner as well and almost saw drew but he just couldn't get away. then on saturday i went to the forensics tournament to help out and hang around. a big CONGRADULATIONS!! goes out to morgan and kathleen who qualified to CFLs!! i was quite giddy. then later (thanks to my sisters lack of interest in politics) morgan and i went to see the Capitol Steps at Proctors. so freaking funny!! my dad laughed so hard he sorted - and i almost died of embarrassment. jeez! lol, but it was an amazing show and i am so glad i wasn’t alone.
