Poem #2
Entitled: I DO
A feeling so sudden and new
Can it be this true?
All I can see for miles
Is rainbows and smiles
This voice I hear
Is it coming from your heart to mine, dear?
I smile and yet I wonder why
Because I’ve died of a broken heart to many times
You say you care
But should I really take this dare?
If I were to fall for you this time
Would you catch me at a drop of a dime?
My heart has an extra beat that’s just for you
I really want it to be just us two
So how me this is for real and is true
And I will say in a heartbeat that I DO!
