I woke up this morning around 6:30. I enjoyed a nice sleep after 25 hours of remaining awake.
Right now I'm sitting outside on the side of the road, grabbing someone's internet connex and enjoying the sounds of many birds and of the wind blowing through the trees. The sun is shining, and although it puts one heck of a glare on my glossy screen, i can't help but feel the love that it pours upon us all, every day.
There's just something about the sunshine...it is life.
I guess I'll wander around this town a bit today. On the way to the concert, I saw a little grocery store, so that will be indispensable to my survival here. I ate some raw Ahi last night. Not bad, but would take a few more times eating it to really become a big fan.
I wanna go to da water! Hehe.
Last night, we went out to an awesome little concert thingy. There were a bunch of people, a handful of great reggae/ska/funk/rock bands, and general joyousness all around. I met lots of peeps, and had a few lengthy conversations. It was grand, even though I was dead tired. I kinda wish it was tonight rather than last night, but I guess it's cool that we had a sort of welcome event.
let's see if i can remember names, just as a practice, because i usually suck at it....ok:
dawn, mahloo (sp?), kyle, ian, kate, natasha, theon, haha...i suck at this. what a bum.
anyway, the flight was good. this girl sitting with us was awesome to talk to for hours, while oona slept like a wittle baby. i have no idea what her name was, but i was thinking we could all chill sometime. whatever, though. a good single-serving friend
