i was thinking today during the trip out to do my canvassing that i really dislike buses. it's kinda strange, but i just have an aversion for them. i really love trains, though...something about them just makes me feel good
trains are like another world - and while you are a part of that world you float through the realm of the real, looking out as you pass everything by, separate from it all.
riding at night is especially cool, because looking out into the darkness gives a strange sense of security or something...plus the lights twinkling in the night resemble the most beautiful spectacle of them all - the starry sky.
anyway. yeah. i really like trains, and have since the first time i rode the metro north. i think i may travel cross country on a train one of these days.
