(no subject)
I got my first flight lesson yesterday...It was LOADS OF FUN!!! I flew a Piper Cub which was like a skeleton version of the Cessna. It was a really basic and light plane. Yesterday didn't have the greatest weather conditions to fly. It was severely winding and a little rainy while we were up there. The instructor had me do a lot of turns (360s and 180s) and a lot of banking (S) movements... It was kind of hard to try to keep the plane lined up with like a road on the ground because of the wind direction and the bumpiness, but overall he said I did a great job!!! It was freaken awesome!!! Well I got my first couple hours of flight training done and over with and I can't wait to go up again! It was quite an experience... It made flying a cessna look like driving a cadillac compared to something like an old beat up 91 mitsubishi mirage....It was crazy!!! But a huge adrenaline rush!!!
Grandma's birthday is on Wednesday, she'll be 81!!! We are gonna celebrate it on Thursday night though because I am busy on Wednesday. I am going to get her a cake and go out to dinner. I figure that would be nice.
My first track meet is on TUESDAY!!! I am nervous about it but I'll try my best!!! I hope coach doesn't put me in the 2 mile!!!!
