1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
made salmon loaf, learned how to drive standard, andy's laundry, drove to canada (where I did the driving), had a one year anniversary, moved out of my house, went to montreal on spring break, went to florida, met my mothers family, went to a red sox baseball game....
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I made no new years resolutions. Personally, I tend to think they are just silly.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Erica Hansen had a baby girl named Claire in November. I keep thinking of cute little French babies.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My great uncle Eddie, and my cousins grandparents.
5. What countries did you visit?
Canada
6. What would you like to have had in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
a kitchenaid...haha
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 11th our anniversary, march, my birthday (first birthday that wasnt horrible, and there was pink cake.....)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
mastering Tiramisu, not killing my grandfather on a ten hour trip to Canada....
9. What was your biggest failure?
none, it was one of those oddly surreal good years.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
A lung infection in september that kept me in bed for a month and sick for about two months
11. What were the best things you bought?
Our christmas ornaments, the crepe maker (for wonderful crepes at midnight), our yatzee game, my antique bureau
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Rachel, she has become our third musketeer.
13. Whose behavior appalled you?
Honestly, some of my "friends" or most of my friends in general, Im not even going to bother anymore
14. Where did most of your money go?
The apartment, food, decorating
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Florida, Texas, montreal, new Brunswick, the move in, Christmas, my new camera

Running around like chickens with our heads chopped off, my house, my aunts house, andys house, etc

House and Sex and The City, The Cosby Show, Current TV, I seemed to be addicted to it lately....
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not particularly but whoever decided leggings should come back in style...they may top the list.....

Suite Francaise....you have to read it
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
coheed and cambria
28. What did you want and get?
the apartment, digital camera, photo printer, Andy honestly spoils me horribly.

a trip to europe....probably in 2008, we want to go to Germany

The Departed, The Lost City, I really want to see Pan's Labyrinth
31. What did you do on your birthday?
Andy made me a pink two layered cake, and bought me a diamond necklace. my parents took us to Joe Blacks in downtown hartford, that was utterly amazing. We had Irish food in a old 1930's style bank, followed by pastries from little Italy. The next day he took me to Trumbull kitchen where we had chocolate ravioli and the best risotto ever....
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I think I was just really happy in 2006. I left a job I hated, found a job I really like. Now if only leggings would be forever banned.....
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
polka dots, black, white, red vintage, lots of dresses and of course high heels.
34. What kept you sane?
My family and Andy
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Andy Garcia and my odd crush on Anderson Cooper.

Iraq and nuclear weapons

my jadgi, that never seems to lessen

matt martin, jay, and Erik, andys brother who always cracks me up
