(no subject)
so today wasn't too bad, except i may be getting strep throat, which would just blow. i really think i'm getting sick though. in brighter news, my birthday is another day closer and that's nice. so my mom said she sent me $$$ for my bday and so i get the card and am real excited only to open it up to emptiness, i mean i know that it's wrong to be opening the card and only looking for one thing, but i did try hard...i read the entire card and then found it empty...and was really confused. i looked inside it and through it and in the envelope 12 times, not kidding - it may have been 13 and i even had tanner look through it to see if maybe for some reason i missed it...and then i even was like...did anything fall out and i missed it? yeah...i was a little distraught you could say. so i called and was really nice about it to my mom's vmail and was like...i thought you said you sent me money and maybe you didn't say it but i loved the card and all but i was al ittle worried that it was empty...i hoep i didn't come off to assholeish, ya know me...i probably did.
in the most exciting news ever my sister is having her 1st baby. she's due on August 14th - 4 months before my birthday. I'm so happy for her that i can't wait!!! It gives me 10 million x more the reason to go home more often. We are moving into the townhouse on friday which is so soon but so far away, i just want it to be tomorrow, ya know. Also I get paid again on Friday - niiice. I can't wait to buy some Christmas presents for my mom and dad and i need to get something for you know who, but i don't know what to get - it makes me mad! lol.
I finished my first day of work and loved it, yes i was extremely exhausted afterwards but it was very rewarding to be doing something other than "learning how to take calls" I mean it's ont that hard. damn. I did enjoy it and felt somewhat accomplished afterwards. I received my debit card in the mail today after a LONG ASS WAIT and decided i needed to spend money on it asap. so i went to the famous kroger and bought 2 burritos and 1 king size mr good bar to come to a total of $1.67, success at such a cheap price, except for what those damned burritos will most likely do to me later...i'm sure later i'll be thinking "oh what a failure". fuck. So tomorrow will start anew with a nice relaxing Venti Caramel Coffee and thoughts being poured out of my ever-thinking brain spilled towards my newfound friend Robin Lee. Oh tomorrow here I come.
