so I've started reading the Mark Watches Buffy posts.... and while I don't always agree with (sorry kids, he just doesn't really get BA) it's been totally fun watching the series through his virgin eyes (well, at least so he said)..Aside from making me jones for old school buffy (so yes, I'm starting to watch along).. his riffs on Joss Whedon's "

Can you imagine how much "Passion" is going to crush him?

I don't agree with a lot of his interpretations either, but I'm still hoping he'll come around and get a better sense of B/A. Even though it's the same thing all the Spuffies say, it was a little odd that he thought Buffy didn't know Angel well enough to say she loved him yet in "Lie to Me". Do people just assume that if their time together is not directly referenced in a scene, it didn't happen?

I`m mostly enjoying for how much he is enjoying lots of the other stuff, and how gleeful he gets when things are good...

Don`t think he`ll ever get BA, but I like the way he gets other things that were so great about the early seasons, and the point of Buffy in general (at least at that time).

Sometimes, I could do without his inserting so many of his personal issues, but its his blog so.....

Nothing to do with him, but all the Rot13 commenting thing is kind of annoying me.. if its not allowed to post spoilery info,, why not just don`t say anything, there are plenty of other places to discuss the show, so not quite seeing the point of posting gibberish there.

Anyway, sometimes he really does crack me up. Thought the 2 bits I linked to were hysterical and right on.

OMG i've been reading his posts and well and they are just fucking halerious!! His reaction to Spike showing up was pretty much exactly mine, and even though he's not a b/a i can see him getting there.

I just cannot wait to see his reaction to some of the more iconic moments in s2 and s3. Surprise, Innocence mainly and then s3 Band Candy and DoppleGangLand. LOL :P

Actually, i can't wait to read it all. ^^

I know right, even when I don`t agree he cracks me up... we`re there together... I am reading the comments-- which if they are first timers are frequently pretty funny as well--- but not commenting at all, don-t know if you are... some of the comments from long time fans some time are a bit too much..(if one more person feels the need to say you are so not prepared my head might explode....) still its fun reading new perspectives and how people have picked up on things..
