Friends I met in the City! I wanna say thank you to all of you today, ‘cause you’re all so cool! Ya know who you are!
Then, I’m gonna thank the Oniwabanshuu. They’re awesome, and they raised me to be the super ninja that I am today! Jiya, Ochika-san, Omasu-san, Kuro, Shiro . . . I miss ya guys. Thanks.
Then, I wanna thank the brat-I mean, Yahiko-‘cause if he didn’t bump into me, I wouldn’t have met Kaoru-san. Thanks for sparring with me, even if I kick your ass!
Kaoru-san, I wanna thank you too, ‘cause you’re such a cool friend, and we have such fun together, and we’ve been through a lot, right? Going to see Himura at his master’s hut, fighting that scythe boy, and defending the Aoiya, and just all our fun adventures . . . Man, life would be so boring without you.
I wanna thank the tori atama-I mean, Sano. ‘Cause we get drunk together and laugh a lot and just know how to party, but I know you’re dependable too ‘cause you helped us beat Shishio.
Then, I wanna thank Himura, ‘cause he’s a great guy even if he’s kinda all rurouni-ish sometimes and too nice. We’ve gone through lots too . . . saving a village, fighting the Juppongatana and getting your new sword . . . and you brought Aoshi-sama back. Thanks so much, Himura. You’re a good guy.
Megumi-san . . . thanks. ‘Cause of you, the Oniwabanshuu recovered quickly after the huge battle . . . and you took care of Aoshi-sama too, and helped him get back to his feet. Thanks.
Beshimi . . . Hyottoko . . . Shikijo . . . Hannya-kun . . . thanks for teaching me everything I know, and for making being a ninja lotsa fun and about caring for and protecting the people that you love.
Aoshi-sama . . . thanks for being a great okashira of the Oniwabanshuu, and for taking care of me as a kid, and for raising me up . . . I understand why you had to leave, even if I cried lots . . . but you’re back now, and I’m gonna make you smile, no matter what! So you wait for me, ya hear?
