Look, Himura was standing across the cliff after he ran away from me. I thought maybe if he could make it, I could. I wasn't gonna pass up the chance to find Aoshi-sama. How do you forget someone who's the most important person in your life? You just don't, Kenji. I'm gonna keep fightin', even if people think it's stupid. I'm gonna do what I believe is right, and I'm not gonna give up, and I'm gonna make it work for me.

And it all worked out in the end, 'cause Aoshi-sama came back home. That's what's important to me, man.
