Sweat, yelling, screaming, arms waving, scowling faces..................
The Coy family was playing Scrabble.
I spent Easter over at Mom and Dad's. It began with walking the dogs, which feels more like being tied up with the rope as it's being used in a game tug-of-war. I love those dogs, I do.
Then the obligatory trip to the Redneck Mall (aka Wal-Mart). This is actually always hugely entertaining. There is something about a trip to Wal-Mart that just says "I'm a Southern Gal and I Love my Wal-Mart!"
Dinner was served and then we set up the Scrabble game on the back porch. Rachel put on her game face, knowing that her real challenge was Dad. He promptly took the lead with "Queer" and "E-N, en" (It's a word, I checked.) The quote of the day goes to Rachel: "How do you spell en???"
The day ended with Mom, Dad, and I playing frisbee. I mastered the art of ricocheting the disc off the house and to Dad, while Mom mastered the art of how to make me bleed and sprain an ankle. I think she and dogs plotted it out. They dug the holes and she threw the frisbee in that direction. You get the picture.
It was a very good Bunny, colored egg day. :-)
