I fell from the flaming bridge.
I must have landed wrong,
something's not as it should be.
I crawl away with an out of tune melody lingering in the air.
I can still see the flames in the distance.
&& I'll go through anything
to burn the bridge.
Each time I fail,
I am warned by my lack of breath.
I know if I fail completely
my feet will leave the floor&
my neck will snap.
Or let me suffer.
Let me dance to save my life,
toes barely gracing the ground.
While I stuggle to grow just enough
so my failure won't cut my breath off.
If only I had a step up,
I could unwind my failure from around my neck.
Throw down your distrust.
[I'll grow so tall, so tall]
I'd tower over the world
& fling stars around in my anger.
I'd put the world in my pocket.
Even as you condemn me,
I'd still give you the world.
