there is nothing that makes me more driven than someone telling me that it cant be done
ive been doing a lot of thinking.... about the future and all that
i think i dont want or need to get a bachelors of fine arts... instead... ive been kicking around the idea of a ba in art history, and possibly double majoring in history... this wouldnt take too much more time, and it opens up more job possibilities
the downside is that i will have to retake college algebra and another math after that... suck!
but ive also been thinking about what i will do with whatever degree i end up with... its been teaching for a while, but now ive been tossing around the idea of going into the antiques field...
ive been looking up stuff online, and i have to say that this might be the first time that im excited about a career feild that i can actually see myself in
but of course there are many many logistical problems 1) money... im gonna have to work my ass off (and my wardrobe is gonna have to suffer for it) 2)time... its going to take at least a year longer than i expected 3) convincing the parents that it is indeed a good idea for me to take on all of this 4) to be part of a major well respected house its possible that i would have to leave the texas that i love so much
5) i wont actually make the art work that i love so much...
i wouldnt hate some feed back from my friends... esp kristin since you recently went through this process
and btw i will kill anyone who makes a comment on my grammar usage or spelling.... as usual
