Hmm...

Ayy..it's been a lo0onng time.

I've settled quite well into my new hometown...even though it's about the size of Rhode Island. Allegy season is KICKING my ass. TO0O0O0O many flowers and trees, my car is literally covered in pollen. BTW..I got a new 2008 Honda Civic LX, the sister-in-law hooked it up with a new car...yeah..weird I know. My ol' toyota has been giving me shit and so I'm rockin a new galaxy grey sedan :D

I never thought I'd take such a huge change so well. My relationship with Ernie has been getting stronger and stronger. We flew back home for Spring break and I just couldn't help but get that scared/sad feeling when we got the airport that I used to get whenever we had to go our individual ways. Flying together and coming back home together made me appreciate him like never before. It's great having that one confidante who you can just tell anything to and not seem like a complete idiot. All that advice on communicating does come in handy. Being able to live with a person hasn't been as challenging as everyone makes it seem, although it does take loooooots of understanding and compromise. I'm here doing laundry, ironing, cooking and cleaning for my husband and myself...something I never thought I'd be doing so early on in my life. A head start never hurt anyone, lol.

Our days in Miami flew by, we went to IKEA with Arian, Susan and Matthew and spent literally the entire day there. We got a cute wall clock and a laptop carrying case for under 15 bucks. The furniture is AMAZING. I wanted to stock up on baby stuff, it was mostly marine themed...but uhh..gotta hold back on that. (Being married just puts this damn I WANT A BBBAAABBBY thing in your mind..only for a few secs though)I can't wait to finish schooooool. Spending time with my family was well needed. Having Ernie's family so close has been really helpful, I've started feeling more and more comfortable around them.

Newho...gotta get back to these damn lesson plans. I swear...a teacher's life wasn't as easy as I though. However...I do miss writing lab reports....researching jellyfish and their contributions to epipelagic life...::sigh::
