my pregnancy
for those of you wondering what is happening with my pregnancy,
i am now 27 weeks pregnant.
he is a boy named henry.
sadly, we also found out that he has trisomy 13 and has just about the most severe heart defects that are possible.
and he has other severe abnormalities such a bilateral cleft palate which will mean very difficult feeding and breathing issues, i think.
he will probably not live more than a few days, if he even makes it alive to term at all.
so...
i am dealing with this very sad situation that is beyond my comprehension.
lili and violet are doing just fine and are robust, healthy, joyful creatures.
they are both walking everywhere now.
and M, my husband, continues to be the best husband a person could ever hope for.
loving and supportive and kind.
i look forward to our first spring in our new house. and look forward to planting a garden and getting back to photography
so these things get me through these difficult times.
just wanted to let you all know what is going on with me, briefly, if any of you still check in here from time to time.
