Senior Night

Senior night was absolutely amazing, pretty much everything i could have wanted from it. the juniors did a fantastic job decorating, i loved the paper people and the balloons in the water! i read the spinal column before going to the meet and the northern vs. churchill meet was in there. i noticed that northern lost by around 17 ish points, so i knew that we could beat churchill. before the meet, the motto was "do it for your seniors" win that is. the seniors talked before the meet, and as i was about to wing a speech, the best surprises walked in. the whole state swimming gang: nicole, jenny, shea and ashley!!!!!! definately wasn't expecting them, so it was great. the meet started off well, i did the back in the medley and rachael switched for the free. we are going to keep it that way for now, see if we can get that record. i took 1st place in all of my events, which was sweet seeing as how that was my last meet in that pool. sure am going to miss it. and my times were at least above average for me, which was good. i was amazed, and very thankful for, all of the sweet places our team got. way to do it for your seniors, you guys really pulled through. when it was time for the senior presentation, i definately felt like it was some sort of photo shoot. so many pictures were taken from so many people. the bears were very cute, they even had little flip flops! also my daddy bought me roses, which was very nice. so after reading that you should have gathered that we won! i was so happy to have won senior meet, nothing could have been better. we danced to SHOUT with a purpose this time, rather than just our own sheer lunacy. it was definitely more heartfelt, and SHOUT better remain a tradition. after the meet i finally got to the food. the crazy freshman of course started a frosting smearing on the face fight, and yeah i got attacked. we all did. thank you to all of our team and to all of the people that came and cheered us on. i love you!

P.S. you should come support us again at city meet, which will be at northern at 7:00pm on tuesday, october 25th. we are going to kick some ass again!!!
