look around your world pretty baby, is it everything you hoped it'd be?
after making sweet signs with ruby last night, we were all pumped for laura's powderpuff game. we also braimstormed about spring break and tried to get college plans made. we are going to room together and i am going to make the noodles and cook, she is going to clean. it is going to be sweet.
today we left in perfect time for the powder puff game, yet never made it. instead we drove around comletely lost and confused, which seems to be a trend with ruby and i. first off we went to the wrong notre dame which was completely in the wrong direction from the one in detroit where we were suposed to be. we then called for directions and tried to find the expressway. we went the complete opposite direction on M-59 and made a lovely series of figure eights. all of us tried to read the maps but we soon realized that no one knew how. next time we need to bring a boy along to help out with that kind of stuff. we then asked this odd foreign guy in a party store how to get on the expressway from whereever the hell we were and of course, being foreign he gave us the wrong directions and completely screwed us over. Word of advice: never ask anyone who doesn't use articles when they speak for directions!!!! after driving for 2 1/2 hours me and ruby were ready to kill someone while angie and kristin thought this was all just dandy. they were cracking up and of course ruby and i were spazing out. all i wanted was something to drink by we couldn't stop cuz we kept think we were going to make at least some of the game. after getting turned aroun in pontiac we said fuck it and went to dq and then home. to try to make up for our missing of the game we went over and decorated laura's house real sweet since she won and all. when ruby and i go on our road trip some time during college to nyc we are going to map out the route before hand and write of perfect directions for there and back. long day needless to say, but definitely a memory
