Today we were fed doughnuts for breakfast and got to see all our favorite returning teachers at the faculty staff meeting. I'm staff. How cool is that?!
But anyway we could have learned exactly the same things by just reading the packed that was read aloud to us. It was dead boring except for the bits where doctor Brannon talked, she's such an engaging speaker, even when I've heard all the brain buck stories before, perhaps she's gotten so very good at them because of all this practice. After being burnt out on meetings we returned to the dorm to go out to lunch which ended up being the china buffet where we'd had grad dinner one year, I believe. Giant Koi.
I've moved into my new room and defaced the walls with thumbtacks even though there are signs up for the students that say "Don't use tape Sticky tack only!" but my whole suite is a bit crap so I recon no one will notice a couple of thumbtack holes when a door has been punched in, there are what look like bloodstains on the floor, the furniture is breaking off and the upholstery is torn. My poor little epsilon girls, they're going to thing dorms are crap.
Hello, and welcome to real college life, little girls.
I'm quite excited that one day reps from the Louisiana school are going to visit us but can't figure out which physics teacher can give a mad lecture on sound wave stuffs.
The cheerleaders left while we were lunching and eww, did they leave some nasty stuff behind. And a can of air freshener but aI don't think that makes up for Ben having to take a tampon out of one of his boy's showers.
Poor Ben.
I was not in the mood for our next counselor meeting and when Elise continued talking after Charlie brought the pizza in, I could hardly contain myself. She talked when we could have been eating and I quite resent that.
Even later on that night I tried and tried to get a torrent of The Family of Blood to work but at last Ange uploaded the first four parts to YT but that last eight min. is driving me mad - I have to know what happens! I'll find out all the sooner if I go to bed 'cos it'll be waiting for me when I wake - if all goes well. Stupid McNeese firewall. Grr, arg!
I'm having so much fun being a behind the scenes counselor I can only hope I'm as good at being a counselor to the seven little girls in my care. I hope I don't have any ditzy ones - I wouldn't know what to do with one.
What I realy hope to have is a whole suite full of students just like me, but that's folly.
Me+Ben watch Doctor Who this weekend - oh the yayz. Sharing doctor who is such joy.
