Hearing about people dying and starving and looting(okay, that was a joke) in all affected areas doesn't make me feel sorry for the victims of Katrina.
Does that make me a bad person?
No, it doesn't. because instead of feeling sorry, i think of this
3.6 MILLION in critical need of food
Of course, they're not getting much attention by anyone in America, one of the richest nations in the world.
I don't expect you to donate(but for whatever reason if you are interested in doing so, it's in the link) because I probably wont be donating pocket money(we are going to start a fund at school for it). but visit the link, and spread the word. famine isn't cool, even if they are africans.
oho, i almost forgot to mention, Jess came and had lunch with me saturday at work. that was nice. we went to her house for a little bit friday, too. and she came over tonight after work for a couple hours and we both watched mean girls for a second time. so, things are going nicely.
