Wowzers!
So I died my hair dark brown, and I got my first beautiful tattoo!!!!!!!! I feel rejuvenated and I'm already craving another one. It's a blue crescent moon with a purple swirl around it with little yellow stars randomly placed about. I had the guy at Tiki Tattoo draw it because I knew what I wanted and didn't want to pick something off the wall that a million other people already have. It's below my belly button on my left side, right by my hip bone.
I got a moon for several reasons. It represents phases, which I have gone through many, and feminine energy. The moon is my ruling planet and if anyone knows me well enough, I am a moody motherfucker. I am truly your typical Cancer.
I also got it in remembrance of my Great Grandma Moon who was my favoritest grandmama in the whole wide world. I used to have sleepovers at her apartment every weekend and she was my best friend. She died when I was in 4th grade and 3 days later my Grandpa Roger, who lived across the street from me, died also. I didn't speak for a month. I honestly had nothing to say. This marked a huge huge huge turning point in my life. Plus it started a closer relationship between me and my Grandma Pat who is paralyzed from lots of strokes. Grandma Moon was her mom and Gradnpa Roger was her husband.
Imagine being paralyzed and the two people who take care of you the most, your MOM and your HUSBAND, die all in the same weekend. It blows my mind that she is still so mentally there.
Anyways I got to see my new niece Garnet Marie McDermitt Bailey today for the first time. She was born on Jan,20th which is Szechuans b-day and she is BOOTYFULLLL! I can't wait to go back and play with her more!!!
