Rabbit still holding on... for now

Got a phone call from my Japanese branch manager about half an hour ago. They had a meeting last night to explain what the current situation is. What a champ he is! Calling me up to tell me what was going on, and in English no less. He even pre-empted my AAM (foreign manager). Well, my AAM is probably like me doing what I was doing; sleeping in. Yay! Good luck, Maggie. Party hard during these ten days! I hope that this all works out and that you see a little cash.

It's good to know that something's being done. It seems like a big unlucky roll of the dice for you to get stuck with someone like monkey, but now that everything's being solved (at least 80% of it anyway), what do you think are the chances of such a disaster happening again? If you stop teaching, then what are your next plans, and what wacky adventures may arise from those? It seems I've just started reading your story, and it's already about to end.

That it is indeed.. glad that something *finally* is being done.
Chances of another such disaster? Who can tell? Depends on the investor they find - if he is the same as the monkey, then it will end the same... however, no investor = no nova = no disaster (logical impossibility). As for another language school - yep, could happen. But then, it could happen anywhere....

As for my story, well it's still going on. This is just one chapter, as my mom would say. It might be wrapping up, but who knows what the next one will bring. :D Currently, I plan to go to England for Christmas/New Year's to be with my boyfriend :D Then we are coming back to Calgary to work for a bit and save some money before jetsetting off to another exciting locale (thinking of Australia or NZ...)
