Hopefully they are safe for now. No one really knows what happens anywhere outside Adstringendum while one's here. Some people return to their worlds sometime, but they sometimes never return here - if they do, they usually remember nothing about the time they spent here.

I think your family experienced a lot of trouble before - maybe they're used enough to it and therefore can protect themselves?

If they're still at home, they should be all right. Although my mother would go mental... if I'm stuck here too long and don't let her know where I am I might as well not come back at all. Tch.
