[The PCD is switched on violently as it clatters to the ground, showing an odd-angle view of the doors of Unohana's clinic. Jotaro is just outside the doors, on his hands and knees on the concrete, raising one hand to wipe blood from his mouth. In his other hand he holds a broken steel pipe.
Overhead, four large shapes cast shadows as they circle. They're not quite dinosaurs, not quite birds; they glint silver and their eyes are bright red laser points. Even as Jotaro straightens, two of them dive down for another round.
He meets the first one with a great big metalic CLANG, swinging the pipe, fighting like a madman. Those who have seen him fight before would notice the difference at once: there's none of the smooth, restrained economy of movement that he would have with Star Platinum at his side. He's fighting desperately, all the roaring violence that his Stand used to embody now his own.
He isn't holding his ground very well at all.
Even as he manages to fling the pipe into one robo-bird-saur, sending it crashing against the wall, one of the remaining two soars up then flashes down in a dive. Jotaro turns too late to catch it. Sharp steel talons catch him across the right side of his face, tearing deep in. He reels back, staggers, but doesn't cry out - rather he snarls, and renews his attack, as though all the pain translates into a fury he can't contain.]
