Wet the bed
If you know of anyone looking for a job in the Midtown/Downtown Detroit area, Avalon Bakery is hiring the midnight shift (9pm-4am). Basically baking bread through the night 2 nights a week part time stuff.
If I didn't have a job and was in a rock and roll band, I would be applying for this. Everytime I see that Avalon is hiring I notice because the bread is so good. For every full shift worked, the worker gets a free loaf of bread and discounts on the rest of the food there.
Basically I want to be in a touring band that is fairly popular and work at Avalon when I am home. However, I have settled with being a social worker in the HIV community and riding my bike a lot. It isn't so bad at all, so I can dig it. And who knows maybe this band I start with John and Joe will eventually tour? Who knows.
Speaking of touring - I am selling chinesehappy's touring van. Dodge Ram 3500 extended cab full sized van. Seats 11 people. Is totally indestructible. I'll sell it for around $2000. Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested.
