Adventures in capitalism: Megabus

So I usually don't get excited by buying stuff. Actually I'm totally lying, I posted about my crimethinc purchases and my Degrassi DVDs among other things.

Well add another exciting thing to the list. MEGABUS TICKETS!

I'm going to Minneapolis May 9th-13th. I'll be getting there at about 6:30am on the 9th and be leaving at 7am on the 13th. Guess how much it cost...

$40....

$55...

$70...

$20...

Well...$55 is one way on Greyhound.

Mega bus is costing me $4.50! Four dollars and fifty cents for my round trip! Shit dawg that is awesome. Definately cheaper than Greyhound or driving myself. And cheaper (and more environmentally friendly) than flying. Also, a lot less days off of work than biking there.
My brother Mike is going with me. He is leaving (and getting there) a day before me. Then he leaves to come home about 10 hours before me. His ticket price...$11.50. Still totally awesome.

So I'll have four days in Minneapolis. I wanna ride bikes a lot, I wanna go to a punk show, I wanna visit the worker owned cafes and go to the bike coops. This shit is gonna be fun.

cheap, bikes, megabus, minneapolis
