There was Mycroft. I hadn't known there would be Mycroft making passes at Hal. Also, Hal and Cutler have the best convesations in the show. When Hal fell to his knees and Cutler made that disbelieving face... /FEELS "Keep the door closed"

I loved this! I spent the whole time torn between being thrilled to see Cutler again, and worrying about the effect he would have in Hal. I love that he was deliciously devious :-)

Wow, this is... something! You did a brilliant job, incorporating Alex and Tom and showing how his normal life clashes with his past life, which Cutler sort of brings back every time. The use of the lullabies is a great idea (and the lines really fit both of them well, highlighting certain aspects of their characters; I don't know if it's intentional but it's a great idea). The flower was creepy and painful, but the ending gives off this hopeful vibe. Looking forward to the sequel. :)

i found this on ao3, but i wanted to track you down and tell you how fabulous i think it is.

hal is a character who makes me feel vertiginous sometimes with that whole abyss of history behind him, and this was totally true to that - ugh, the lullabies, the beautifully queasy relationship with cutler - as well as the fragile, deceptively bumbling way that he exists with alex and tom. and cutler: “Hal! Let your hair down!” <3 your dialogue is nut-sweet and perfect - i shivered. i hope he plagiarises the fuck out of the flatshare.

so yes: i think this is fabulous.

Cutler definitely needs to find himself room mates))) But it doesn't mean he has to stop hanging out with Hal and torturing him just by being there... which I why I'm writing a sequel. >_
