Awww! This is even better than I was hoping for. Such a deep piece. I love how you showcased Caprica's loneliness, her estrangement from her own people, her devotion to the man who doesn't actually exist. But what I love most is the tiny promise of hope at the end: He is not the Gaius she loves and neither is President Baltar - but maybe that Gaius is waiting for her somewhere around the corner. This is so true as they both have to come a long way before they can really be together.

Thank you, sis! This is perfect. :)

Wheee))) Happy you enjoyed it, darling)))
I love Caprica (I love all Sixes, they're so diverse compared to other models), and I kind of hated the writers a bit for the whole Caprica/Tigh thing, but I like the idea that she wasn't just blindly in love with Baltar. She saw his faults and she wanted to be proud of him but he was weak and selfish and he had to grow up a lot before he became worthy of her love. I don't necessarily like the way he did his growing up (could have done without the tacky cult thing f.ex.), but I loved the resolution of their story. So I figured: take a really dark period of their lives and relationship and connect it to the finale in a subtle way. I planned to include the snippet of the finale too but I figured it wouldn't fit in after all)))
Thank you for reading, nii-san! <33333

Yes, the Sixes are the best. No wonder the angel looked like a Six (though one might wonder why the other angel looked like Baltar). XPP

I object to Caprica/Tigh as well. But I already ranted about it, didn't I?

I thought the cult was funny. And they were sort of instrumental in his growth too, since he realised he had to leave them in order to save Hera after all.

Oh, I'd read some farm!fic too. It has to be funny. Baltar waging a war on plants that refuse to grow according to his precise scientific calculations and Caprica LOLing not-so-secretly at him.

Probably because the Cylon God had a really creepy sense of humour)))
Yep, but you could rant some more, I don't mind)))
I thought it was kinda annoying)) It was nice of them to take Baltar in after the trial but objectively they were stupid as fuck. They idealized a fraud and a criminal.
I saw one sweet farm!fic once))) Baltar tried to explain Six what farming was about))) I could try and dig it up.
