This could totally be canon. ;_; Actually, I imagine it's better than that, because I almost wish this would happen. That Sasuke would realize this about himself, because somehow even that would help the heartbreak about him a tiny bit. But even though he says in the manga he's completely in darkness, I don't think he quite gets it. I miss a Sasuke who calmly tries to think about his actions, even if he ultimately makes the wrong choice--I just want him to think.

I actually really do want her to survive. Not just b/c I've come to like her eventually, but also b/c her death would signal Sasuke's absolute downfall... and I'm not sure I'm ready to face that. :)
I agree about Sasuke thinking. I want that too. T_T

Same here. I'm really worried about it. I keep thinking, "That can't be what Kishimoto's going for, with all the running themes and... it just can't." And I still haven't actually caught up on the manga, I've just been reading the spoiler posts and sometimes actual commentary.. and if Karin dies.. I just. Don't know if I'll be able to do it. ;_; I don't want to give up on Sasuke, or the manga. I reallyreally want to have faith and see it through to the end, but.. yeah. *sigh*

I feel the same way. I keep reading the chapters every week, the same as I did since I entered this fandom, but it's more of a routine now. I don't want to give up, even though right now I'm bored and disappointed with this manga. But srsly, all this talk about friendship and bonds - and how does Kishi plan to have Naruto save Sasuke from the darkness if Sasuke's already neck-deep in it and drowning even further?

Me neither. I've wanted him back for a long time now and I just keep hoping that Naruto will find a way to save him before it's too late. T_T

I agree with the Karin dying thing. I couldn't believe it when I read it.

But then he told her not to move, so I still have hope. He hits her right side- so not her heart. So she won't die- right? Even if she might need a medical nin to survive. But not instant death.

But YES YOU WROTE IT WELL. The bit about part of Sasuke dying if the action is deliberate, but I'm hoping it's not.

After Kishi killed off the entire Konoha and then brought them all back, I just don't see him letting Sasuke kill Karin))) It'd be weird and misplaced.
Parts of Sasuke have been dying for a long time already. I just hope there's enough of him left for Naruto to save.
