I like that part about dreams. It's somehow... deep. And it all reminds me about what Murtagh once said. That the Empire was not bad per se. Destroying it would mean anarchy to take over, but it definitely shouldn't be ruled by Galbatorix. It's kinda similar here. They rushed things, destroyed the old world in order to create the new one, but they did not quite predict the consequences of their actions. Me likes it :3

Well, Murtagh is right))) Revolution is always one hell of a double-edged sword.
I don't really think they had any other option. From what I understood, Jurgen prepared everything pretty carefully. And the results would have been hard to control anyway. But that doesn't make it easier. It's traumatic even though it's for the best.

And so is democracy in some countries. One little hell >.>;; that's why I'd support totalitarianism in some cases.
Too much at once. They could have avoided riots if it happened gradually, but then the revolution would have not happened.

I'm afraid that's smth I'd never support. Our country has been totalitarian for far too long a time. Still is in a way.
Well, yeah... but if it happened gradually, I'm afraid the Tetragrammaton would have had better luck in killing them all.

Okay, need to gather the remains of my self-destructing brain... I caaaan't! This is beyond gorgeous! And it has everything: it has emotional!Preston, cool!Robbie, funny!mentor!Jurgen... Gyaaahhhhhhhaaahh!!!! I'm hyperventilating here!

The idea to parallel the riots in the streets to Preston's inner turmoil is great. The bit with the cup is somehow powerful (I see you like "meaningful" cups, judging by the orange mug from your SasuNaru fic). Jurgen's behaviour being "erratic" - finally he may allow it! Oh, I think I'm in love!
