So, more cockblocking and more of Rook's self-analysing to start out with.

Was he aiding humanity or was he merely playing the game? - A very good question! That's one of the things I love about this story. <3 Even Rook, who is trying to have good motivations, is being warped and compromised by the situation he finds himself in. The situation he's agreed to.

Another near-miss with Rook/Cutler. These two are building up some serious UST! XD Bring it on!

Rook's been trying to rein himself in for so long, it couldn't go on indefinitely. And now he's finally cut loose. Bradley was the catalyst -- and, oh, didn't Hal just enjoy that. Well done Fergus! :) -- but at the end of the day, Rook was only doing what he wanted to do all along. He doesn't just hunt, he doesn't just kill, and he doesn't just enjoy it -- he actually toys with his victims. “Now, now, where are my manners? Let me help you, miss.”

Quite a change, but it doesn't stop there. You know I like to see our vampires romping in churches and killing priests. (Don't judge me! :P) But you've gone one further by having Hal wanking the priest off. Deliciously sick and hot. <3
After the repeated cockblocking, you finally served up another yummy dose of Hal/Rook. <3 This is rapidly becoming one of my favourite pairings. Such a different dynamic to Hal/Cutler. Even after everything they do, Rook is still trying to regain what some sort of control over his life. “I think I need to clear my head. Excuse me.” Wonderful characterisation. <3

And this, just this: “I didn't say I was God. I said I was your God.” <3333

One last thing: Mr Snow! XD Wouldn't that have been the most scary and awkward tea party ever? LOL
