Wow! I think I kind of... liked this ep? A lot? Despite being relatively Knave-lite, it was action-packed, had a few interesting confrontations and the minimum of Alice/Cyrus humdrum. All in all, I think it was worth waiting for.

To be fair, everyone on this show has terrible fashion sense (I'm disappointed the Knave didn't mention that either when he talked to the Red Queen in prison XD))). I thought Jafar looked almost cute in the flashbacks but when it comes to the present timeline, he doesn't even need magic to scare people, his outfits are enough. XD (Now I'm imagining Jafar in one of the Red Queen's dresses >_<)))
LOL, if we could predict the Jafar/staff pairing, maybe we can predict some Knave/Cyrus or smth? XD
I'm glad she didn't back down either and I liked the whole "The best thing to make me do something is to tell me I can't" thing. I wonder: why the hell did he tell her that then? XDDD He doesn't look like a suicidal type.
"You're tripped in Wanderland, Illice. You billong to the Ridd Queen now!" *duck-lipped smugness* LMAAAAAO XDDD I wonder if this is how her lines are written in the script. Mb she's like: wtf is this? And the writers go: It's how a Queen sounds, bb. XD
No but really: Cyrus should fall in love with the Knave (and the Knave would be unimpressed) and Alice can elope with Anastasia. XD Perfect show, what. XD
Why not keep torturing the Knave and the Lizard until Alice is forced to use her last two wishes to save them or something? Pretty sure Alice wouldn't waste a wish on the girl she'd just met, so Lizard is probably not the way. As for the Knave... idk, because this show is written by crazy people? Because it'd be too easy and the show would end? XD Honestly, sometimes it feels like this is the only reason to complicate things because clearly he shouldn't have just let her go. Maybe he feared he'd accidentally lose his temper and kill the Knave (along with Alice)? XDD I wonder what happens to the wishes when their owner dies... Or he feared that the longer he tortured the Knave, the more chance there was that the Red Queen would step in to save him? But that's just me trying to find some motivation in all this. Because torturing Alice might not be the way, but just letting her go is stupid. It's clear she won't waste a wish on this but find some other way.
They must stink to high heaven by now. And how're they even eating? And where does Cyrus go to the toilet? XDD His cage looks suspiciously clean and so does he. XD

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. ;)) Imagine Alice going all: I wish you two got along better (or smth like that). XDDD And one things leads to another... I'm a queen of wishful thinking when it comes to stupid shows. XD
Maybe Jafar's wigs are cutting off blood supply to his brain. LMAO! Obviously!
Aww, poor Cyrus! But hey, he was like that before he was captured... then again, I don't think there was a bathroom in his bottle. >_<
Oh, I knoooow, but struggled so hard not to fall asleep during the episode and there was so little of Damien that I have no idea what to write. >_< He's cute, he sucks as a copper and I like the faces he's making, that's about it. I will write smth next week if there's more of him... I think I can only overanalyze 5 seconds of Andrew Gower to pieces; it doesn't work that way with other actors. XD As cute as Albert is, I don't see much personality there yet and I can't have fun at the expense of everyone else because there's not much crack in the show. Oddly enough, a miraculous thing has happened (maybe partly because Damien is back on our screens): my Hal hate is subsiding. Enough to let me write that giant Hal/Rook fic I may have mentioned before. O_o So I figured I'd take time to gush over Albert when there is something to gush about. XD Fingers crossed for the next ep.

That's the real tragedy of OUATiW! If Victor Hugo can write chapters and chapters on Parisian sewers, I'm sure OUATiW deserves a meta on the lack of en suite facilities in a genie bottle. XD
IKR! His accent is soooo faint you can barely hear it... At least he doesn't sound like the Red Queen? XD Also, he wasn't in the preview. Is he even going to be in the next episode? O_o
The cruel God of writing stupid fanfiction. Demanding sacrifice in the form of a writer's tears and blood. XD And brain tissue.

It's a new game! Picture everyone in the Red Queen's outfits and speaking with her accent! Seriously makes one feel better. ;))) Maybe if I picture everyone on Ripper Street like that it'll make watching the next ep less boring. XD
Oh God, moooore love stories? XD Now on Ripper Street. Couldn't he just confess to... idk, secretly being a mass-murdering psychopath? I'm not asking too much, am I? T_T
Haha, thanks a lot. XD Tbh it makes me happy too b/c wtf this story is so long and it's only part 1! But we decided we should start posting once we finish part 1 (there are 3 parts total) because we'd been writing it pretty much since the early eps of s5 aired. So now I'm both excited and terrified because what if it sucks? XD Well, the usual panic mode, I suppose.

Imho a copper who falls asleep on the job is already pretty interesting. XD The guy seriously overestimated himself, it seems. But ugh, if they add a love story... T_T
That makes one of us. XDDD Thank you. :))) I'm honestly not fishing for compliments or reassurance but it's awesome to get them anyway)) One of these days I'll probably write a giant post on writerly anxieties. Yet Another One.
Some stories just don't give up without a fight. They punch you in the face and scream: FINISH ME AND POST ME ALREADY!! Looks like this one is of that variety.

I'm just waiting for the Hal Yorke/Albert Flight crack-fic crossovers to begin. Still better than the avalance of Mitchell/that guy from that show I've never seen, played by the actor who plays Turner's brother in The Hobbit fics. XDDD
