Well, then. It's been a while since I could so accurately predict something. Either I'm getting super-insightful, or this show is super-predictable. I suppose it's the latter.
He's cuute, yesss. Bb needs to get out of this show and have his own spin-off written by totally different people! RTD perhaps? XD LMAO, yes, ttly! Apparently stealing is wrong, so that makes him a bad person with but a shred of humanity left. XD Never mind that he's been helping Alice all this time. I bet he'd eventually give up the wishes too b/c only bad ppl do stuff for themselves. Never mind that with the wishes he could possibly turn the Duckface back into his girlfriend if he wants to. LMAO, and have selfcest with the Alan Rickman-voiced caterpillar XD
I have not seen this episode yet, but I saw news of the Anastasia 'reveal' on Tumblr, and ughhhhh. Also, the least surprising reveal ever. She does seem a bit less plastic&cardboard in that flashback bit, at least? Maybe?
I do like them as friends, but considering the alternatives (Cardboard Cyrus and Queen Duckface, that is), I'm more than willing to see them have a torrid love affair.
Yes, please. I would totally watch this, and it would be way more enjoyable than what they're actually giving us (except that it probably wouldn't be any better than what they're actually giving us, but I can hope, right?).
She looks less plastic but her acting skills are no better. Her smile is so unnatural, argh. But I am curious to know what turned her into the Red Queen? Discovering botox maybe? XD To quote Gandalf, "there was never any hope... only a fool's hope." XDDD
Now that I've actually seen the episode, ugh, it was CGI heavy and ugh Anastasia, and man, I thought we were going to make it through this episode without six instances of "bloody" but then we got 3 or 4 in close succession right there in the middle (but at least they're coming in longer sentences now so less emphasized?).
On the other hand, I enjoyed this episode a lot more than the first two. That's probably because it involved way more Knave and way less Cyrus. And I think I'm interested enough in seeing the rest of this Knave/Anastasia backstory that I almost don't mind it anymore? Almost.
I realized the other day, after seeing a gif on Tumblr, that Emma Rigby was in an episode of Ripper Street. I don't recall her being terrible in that, but now that I'm thinking about it...her character was also in shock and hardly spoke for a good chunk of the episode, so that probably has a lot to do with it! That said, she bothered me less in this episode than in the first two. And really, if they toned down the lip gloss on her that
( ... )
Oh yes, the monstrous CGI strikes back. XD I don't even know why they're pushing so hard with the CGI; they clearly don't have enough budget for it. Well, at least they started using other English words and phrases along with "bloody". XD That's progress! I liked that this episode was more focused on the Knave - but I'd rather Anastasia wasn't involved. At least when she still remained a mystery, we were free to deny her existence. But as soon as they showed her in bed (face hidden and blond hair) it kind of became clear who she was. Argh! Less Cyrus on the other hand is always good. XD I don't think I mind Cyrus per se, but I do mind his super-sweet scenes with Alice. I've only seen Emma Rigby in Becoming Human before and considering that she played a typical blonde school queen bee, she seemed fitting for the part)) I've also seen some OUATiW behind the scenes pic and she seems nice when she smiles and I'm sure she's a nice person, but ARGH, her acting is still non-existent!
It's not like I have any expectations. XD Precisely because I watch the mother show. I enjoyed this ep too, but ANASTASIA! T_T /weeps So the accent comes with being a Queen? Is this the Wonderland ruling class accent? O_o This 'verse has extremely stupid ship names. Like: Swan Queen for Emma Swan/The Evil Queen or Sleeping Warrior for Auror (the Sleeping Beauty)/Mulan. So the Knave/Jafar would probably be smth like... idk, Serpent Knave? XDDD Or that's the name of the Knave/Jafar's Staff pairing. XDDD I'm gonna hope that he's secretly in love with the Caterpillar. The caterpillar is Iggy Pop! Who doesn't like Iggy Pop? XD Basically, I have no problem with that. Write some of your steamy fanfic! About Jafar/Caterpillar, of course? ;)))) In all honesty, I'd gladly write smth, but this show needs to stop being so... uninspiring. Alice in particular. Maybe I need to rewatch Tim Burton's movie and pretend I'm writing that Alice and not the show!one... Speaking of fanfiction, what did you do to your fic? Why is it gone? Um, didn't you
( ... )
And then he also has a moment of: Wtf are you wearing, woman? But later: Oh, well, you never did have a good fashion sense... We have two weeks to wait for the next ep, and I already miss the potential lulz... XD Oh, that explains why Jafar doesn't need anyone. He does everything himself. XD And I do mean everything. Used to drive my FictionPress readers nuts. I bet it did. You're evil. T_T I also loved the comment about Cyrus needing a bath that the Queen made. It bugs me how no one ever seems bothered by the smell in these shows. So the Queen's "OMG Jafar, wash your prisoners before placing them so close to me, ewwww!" is how I would react. XDDD
I was so disappointed by the Anastasia thing. :/ And yes, the true love thing! Argh! Why couldn't he have stolen the mirror for himself, out of curiosity, for his mum, his brother, as revenge because he simply can't stand Malificent for whatever reason (hey, she is evil, after all)? Also: yes, the boy/girl thing! Tinkerbell pointed out to Regina that her refusal to step into that tavern ruined both hers and the man's lives, but apparently it's okay for Mulan's life to be ruined? Well, not saying it'll be ruined, because Mulan is tough and I'm sure she'll get over it, but it's a thought that came to me...
I still adore the Knave, but I wish they had just let him be a snarky commentator who basically voices the audience's thoughts. :P
Of course it's all right for Mulan's life to be ruined. That's punishment for loving a girl! Worst of all, she will probably find Sheng and become straight again b/c that thing with Aurora was a phase. I do love Mulan/Sheng in Disney but here it will now ttly look like she was "cured"! ARGH! Why couldn't he have stolen the mirror for himself, out of curiosity, for his mum, his brother, as revenge because he simply can't stand Malificent for whatever reason B/c that would actually make an interesting plot twist. XD So no, we can't have that. I wish they had just let him be a snarky commentator who basically voices the audience's thoughts. So true... But he needs to become a "better person", so he must tone down the snark. Fortunately he still is rather snarky... Even dull guys like Charming have snarky moments (once in a while) so fingers crossed. >_

Knave's such a cutie on the gifs though)
that gif with pleasuring reminds me of that BH moment: Touch her and I'll touch you or smth. D'aww.
What's boring is someone who's not technically a bad person angsting profoundly over it and coming to some deep realizations all of a sudden.
So true. Knave doesn't come off as a "bad person" at all, just a reluctant sidekick with questionable love interests.
Iggy Pop-voiced Caterpillar should hang out with Fry!Cheshire.
