I wrote these 2 poems after reading chapter 365 this morning. Actually they have little to do with the chapter. They mostly express Naruto's great wish to locate Sasuke and Sasuke's reluctance to be found. Oh well. Naruto belongs to Kishimoto, Kishimoto is cool, and on with the poems...

I can't turn my back on you
When you are walking away.

But you’re like wind in my hands,
Slipping through my fingers
Far away from the place of our last stand.
I’m raising a glass to welcome you home,
But you’ll laugh at me if you know
How it hurts when I smile,

The demon inside me is raging.
I can’t be myself anymore.
Behind that grin I’ll remain
Bruised and shattered at the core.
There’s a taste of you in every breath I take,

That burns on my skin
It’s poison in my veins
When I form a smile of deceit
On my face. Why can’t you
Accept that I’ll never return?
That I died years ago
